Wormshops and Presentations

Doug and a 5-pound sack of worms

Learn everything that you need to know to successfully compost your household waste using worms! You will build your own 10-gallon worm bin and learn how to maintain it, feed the worms, and harvest and use the castings.  You’ll go home with your worm bin, complete with a pound of red wiggler worms and bedding for them to live in, and a copy of the book “Worms Eat My Garbage”.  An hour of future troubleshooting and/or bin harvesting is included. Our next workshop is not yet scheduled; please check back for the schedule or leave a message on our Contact page to tell us that you’d like to be notified of future events.

Schedule your own wormshop

Want to have your own wormshop? Contact us and we’ll discuss the possibilities with you. We love teaching people about their garbage and what they can do to transform it into a magnificent soil amendment – worm castings! We also like to discuss how you might take your business or school the next step to zero organic waste.
